Kelena’s Grand Kabana will exceed expectations. Grand is an understatement! Upon entering, your vacation getaway expands on and on. The home features bright splashes of color around every corner and grand furnishing from Tommy Bahama and Thomasville, creating a comfortable and stylish environment. Additionally, many local recognized artists work adorns interior walls while dramatic custom wall murals are found in the kids bunk room as well as on exterior walls, nicely viewed in two of the outdoor lounging areas. Six bedrooms and four baths accommodate guests, all without becoming too busy. To top it off, there is a dedicated office with a desk and printer for ‘at home’ work and a workout room with top-rated equipment to keep you in beach shape. Your hosts design created numerous gathering spaces, inside and out, to provide large as well as intimate settings to catch up with good friends and family. DOWNSTAIRS:
1 Queen Bedroom Suite with private bath
1 Queen Bedroom with a full bath across the hall
1 Themed Kids Bedroom featuring dramatic murals of the sea and sea life simulating the interior and exterior of a submarine! The bunk room has 1 Full Bed and Two Upper Single Bunk Bed’s with a view of an octopus and sea creatures. This room even has a switch for blacklights to highlight the dramatic submarine theme and amuse every young person (shoot it even tickles adults).
1 King Bedroom Suite with sitting area and microwave, coffee pot and mini fridge with a full bath directly across the hall from the suites entrance.
1 Exercise Room with Bowflex Stepper and weight bench. Additionally, we stocked the room with bands, mats, yoga ball and weights.
UPSTAIRS:
1 Master King Bedroom with a sitting area and an expansive Master Bath containing a roomy, elegant, tiled shower and garden tub. Additionally, we added an area with a coffee pot, microwave, and mini fridge.
1 Separate Room with two twin-sized Trundle Beds or put together to make a King Bed. This room also has an office desk, office chair, and printer. So, it can be a dedicated office and/or a sleeping area.Both upstairs rooms have an adjoining balcony with a bar and two chairs for a wonderful sunset view.
Kelena’s Grand Kabana features a central gathering area with an open floorplan in the front of the home adjoining the kitchen, dining room, bar area, game room, sitting room, and living rooms to enjoy together time. The dining room features an extensive dining table creating an upscale casual beach lifestyle that seats eight. The game room table includes a tablecloth and comfy seating for an additional four to have large, shared meals all within one gathering area. There is even a kitchen granite buffet to lay out your meal, with three more stools for others to join in the feast.
OUTSIDE:
Front Porch features decorative tile with a double rocker, a teak bench, and two additional bench seats to allow for a perfect gathering area in the morning to plan a day of beach or river activities together.Off the Kitchen is a Garden Gathering area with a large outdoor sofa. This area is filled with tropical flowers and a fresh herb garden to use daily to prepare meals.Off the central gathering area is a courtyard with a large outdoor table with four chairs and an umbrella directly facing a sand pit with two additional captain chairs and an umbrella. This area features a large gas fire pit for an enjoyable evening ambiance and an inspirational fire to create conversation. The outdoor Kitchen is vast enough to cook and feed a large group daily. All counters are granite with a huge 3-foot-wide Lion grill with five burners, an outdoor cooktop and oven, a farm-style double wash sink, a full-sized refrigerator, a custom pizza oven, and a granite countertop that easily seats eight. An additional Tommy Bahama outdoor table is located south of the outdoor kitchen with six seats. Upper Balcony has a teak built-in bar with seating for two.Two cozy garden benches are on a covered back porch in the rear of the house.A small garage is your hideaway for outdoor fun equipment. We include four bikes, tennis racquets and balls, a soccer ball, basketball, football, and even a corn hole for the side grassy yard. Store surfboards here, kiteboards, or boogie boards for the serious beach enthusiast. Plenty of room and organization for everything to play with during your stay!I saved the best for last…
The pool! There is a fenced-in private large custom pool, and it will be your group's favorite daily activity. The pool is built in an L-shape with the shallow end featuring kid safe shallow swimming area with multiple built-in umbrellas for sun safety! In the deeper end of the pool, there is two areas with built-in seating and tables for snacks or tropical cocktails, and both also have built-in pool umbrellas when the rays are too intense. Not only that but… the pool is salt water, great for your skin and hair! It is a dream pool for all our guests to enjoy. Whether you are assembling a group for a Beach getaway?
